Personal use software, provided free of charge.

AEGIS Terminal ("the Software") is provided free of charge, as-is, for personal use only. No warranty is given, express or implied.
The Software does not constitute financial advice. All trading decisions are made solely by the user, who assumes full responsibility for any financial outcome.
AEGIS is self-hosted: Marco Vega ("the Developer") has no access to your broker credentials or trading data — these remain exclusively on your machine and are never transmitted anywhere. Mobile app sign-in, push notifications, Pro tier billing, and optional AI-assisted tools use third-party and Developer-operated services described in the Privacy Policy below.
Liability is limited to the cost of the Software, which is zero. The Developer shall not be liable for trading losses, data loss, or any damages arising from use or inability to use the Software.
This agreement is governed by the laws of Mexico (Estado de Jalisco). Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Guadalajara, Jalisco.

Pro Tier

Premium strategies — unlocked by Pro.

The base AEGIS software and all core trading features are free. Pro is an optional upgrade that unlocks access to premium strategies published in the Community Marketplace.
Pro tier is managed by the operator of each self-hosted AEGIS instance. Payment terms, pricing, and billing are set by the operator and are outside the scope of this document.
Premium strategies are user-created content. Marco Vega provides no warranty regarding their performance, safety, or fitness for any purpose. Past strategy results do not guarantee future returns.
Users who publish premium strategies are solely responsible for their content. The operator may remove any strategy that violates these Terms of Service.

Your data never leaves your machine.

Broker credentials, trade history, and trading settings are stored exclusively on your own machine and are never transmitted to Marco Vega or any third party. The exceptions below apply only to mobile app account features and optional AI-assisted tools — never to your trading data.
The Software contains no advertising or tracking pixels. See the Firebase and Anthropic exceptions below for the only data processing outside your machine.
Exception: Cloudflare Tunnel routes your network traffic to your Windows node. Cloudflare may process tunnel metadata (IP address, request timestamps) in accordance with their own Privacy Policy. By default, the mobile app also routes live API requests through a Cloudflare Worker relay operated by the Developer — this is proxied request/response traffic, not just tunnel metadata; successful read (GET) responses may be cached at Cloudflare's edge for up to 5 minutes. If you deploy your own relay instance instead (see the project's worker/README.md), this same proxying and caching happens under your own Cloudflare account rather than the Developer's.
Exception — Mobile app account: The Android/iOS app uses Firebase, a Google Cloud project operated by the Developer, for sign-in (Google/Apple OAuth), device sync metadata (Firestore), push notifications (Cloud Messaging), and crash/error reporting (Crashlytics — collects device info and crash logs, never trade or broker data). The Developer can access account identifiers, device tokens, and crash reports stored in this project; Google processes this data as a sub-processor under Firebase's Privacy Policy. No trade or broker data is ever stored in Firebase.
Exception — Pro tier billing: Upgrading to Pro sends your account email and subscription status to Stripe, our payment processor, to create and manage your subscription. Stripe's own Privacy Policy applies to this payment data. AEGIS never stores your card details.
Exception — AI Command features (opt-in): Buttons like Convert Strategy File, AI Backtest Wizard, and Generate Strategy Hypothesis send the content you submit (strategy files, descriptions, generated code, test output) to Anthropic's Claude API for processing, subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy. Only invoked when you press one of these buttons — do not submit strategies you consider confidential through them.
Right to erasure: To permanently delete all your data, delete aegis.db from your machine. This is the sole database used by the Software. To delete your mobile account and associated Firebase data, use Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account in the app, or see Account Deletion below. To cancel a Stripe subscription, use Settings → Billing in the app.

Account Deletion

Delete your account anytime — from the app or from here.

In the AEGIS mobile app: Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. Type DELETE to confirm. This is immediate and cannot be undone — you are signed out right away.
What's deleted: your sign-in identity, device/sync metadata, and push notification token stored in Firebase.
What isn't affected: your trading data (broker credentials, trade history) was never sent anywhere — it already lives only on your own self-hosted machine, so there is nothing to delete there. Pro tier subscriptions are billed separately by Stripe and are not cancelled automatically; cancel from Settings → Billing before deleting your account if you're on Pro.
Can't access the app? Email the contact address below and request account deletion — include the email address associated with your account. We'll confirm once it's done.
